Who we are

Welcome! We are a small literacy clinic located in Wolfville, Nova Scotia beside the highest tides in the world. Rising Tide Reading Clinic specializes in a selected scope of intervention services specifically designed for learners who struggle with language and literacy skills and need a rigorous, evidence-based intervention program.  We offer private, remedial services in-person and online.

Do you have a child who struggles with reading, spelling,  and/or writing? Are you a parent of a child with a dyslexia diagnosis, a suspected learning difference, or other language processing disability? We provide intensive, one-on-one, multisensory remediation - and we aim to make it engaging and fun! All our lessons use an Orton-Gillingham approach, the gold-star standard in remedial literacy intervention.

We believe in individualized instruction and that learners' needs are as unique as fingerprints. With our programs, each student receives educational services that target their specific area of challenge. We are committed to thoroughly reviewing and interpreting assessments to ensure that the program plan developed is tailored to each individual.
